NOONTIME CABARET TODAY IN NYC: MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY: BAND OF BONES
MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY continues at ST. PETER'S CHURCH - SANCTUARY (619 Lexington Avenue, NYC - 212-935-2200) every Wednesday. This long-running series was created by Edmund Anderson and is now produced by Ronny Whyte. The show on Wednesday, June 4th features Band of Bones. Band of Bones plays swinging big band jazz with a new twist and a totally unique sound. They have great arrangements, exciting, original soloists, and their own sound. Modeled after the great group led by J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding, with a hint of the Basie Band. Performances are at 1:00 pm, $10 donation.
