CABARET TONIGHT IN LONDON: BARB JUNGR & FRIENDS SUNDAYS AT CRAZY COQS
Variously described by critics as magnificent, mesmerising and magical, the formidable Barb Jungr will perform on Sundays at 8:00 pm at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888). Barb is joined by different guests on her regular Sunday night shows. On June 1st, Mari 'The Neasden Queen of Soul' Wilson joins Barb for their superb show WOMAN TO WOMAN, a specially created confection of musical delights from the hit parade of life, celebrating American soul and British pop music in a diverse and captivating evening of harmony and wit, accompanied by Alistair Gavin on piano. Woman to Woman delivers truly heartfelt performances of songs both popular and obscure - from The Temptations to The Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton to The Isley Brothers, Betty Wright to Brenda and The Tabulations. Barb Jungr has wowed audiences and critics worldwide with her powerful reinterpretations of Bob Dylan's work. She has built a formidable reputation as an international live performer and recording artiste and has ranked at the top of Time Out New York's Best Cabaret Awards for her shows.
