NEW JERSEY: THE DIANE MARINO QUARTET FEATURING HARRY ALLEN AT TRUMPETS JAZZ CLUB

The Diane Marino Quartet featuring Harry Allen will perform at TRUMPETS JAZZ CLUB & RESTAURANT (Six Depot Square, Montclair, NJ - 973-744-2600 - ) on Saturday, June 28th with sets at 8:00 & 10:00pm. An evening of classic Jazz standards and Brazilian Bossa Nova & Samba is planned. Diane will be joined by Harry Allen on Sax, Frank Marino on Bass and Neal Smith on drums. NEW HOPE, PA: LAINIE KAZAN "THE MUSIC THAT MAKES ME SING, MY LIFE IN CONCERT"

Tony and Golden Globe nominee Lainie Kazan will bring her show "The Music That Makes Me Sing, My Life In Concert" to THE RRAZZ ROOM IN NEW HOPE (6426 Lower York Road, New Hope, PA - 888-596-1027) on Friday & Saturday, June 27th & 28th at 8:00 pm. Lainie is the embodiment of the word entertainer. Her acclaimed cabaret show takes audiences on a journey through her nearly five decades-long career, from her start as Barbra Streisand's understudy in Broadway's "Funny Girl" to appearing on "The Dean Martin Show" a record 26 times, to her beloved turn as Maria Portokalis in the hit film "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." Along the way, Kazan pays homage to her idols Judy Garland, Ethel Merman and Sophie Tucker. There is a $45-$55 cover.

Carol Riddick is releasing her solo debut album Moments Like This for all the world to hear at BLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141 - ) on Saturday, June 28th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. The sultry singer/songwriter has graced stages from her hometown of Philadelphia to across the globe, winning fans and admirers with her extraordinary voice. Highly regarded in the music community for her vocal dexterity, mesmerizing performances, and genuinely warm personality, Carol Riddick's time is now. Call for cover/minimum information.

BETHESDA, MD: ROBERTO POMILI TANGO ORCHESTRA - ALBUM RELEASE PARTY

The Roberto Pomili Tango Concert - Album Release Party will be held atBETHESDA BLUES & JAZZ SUPPER CLUB (7719 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD - 240-330-4500 - ) on Saturday, June 28th at 8:30 pm. Roberto Pomili, composer, conductor and international musician, is considered one of the best tango composers of his generation. Since 1995 he has had the pleasure of performing in some of the most important concert halls in the world. His last CD "concerTango recordando a Piazzolla", which is a tribute to the famous Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, sold over 10,000 copies in the USA. Pomili will perform with his band including the special guest Latin Grammy Award Winner Raul Jaurena, master of the Tango and one of the most prominent bandoneon players, and Marga Mitchell, a wonderful singer and Grammy Nominee Gustavo Casenave on piano. Raul Juarena's music plays a very personal tribute to the influences of his native South America and his adopted hometown of New York. At this concert Pomili will present his live Tango CD recorded at Bethesda Blues & Jazz in honor of the famous Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla for your listening pleasure. There is a $25 cover.

CHICAGO: KAREN MASON AT DAVENPORT'S 2 WEEKENDS

Broadway & Cabaret's Karen Mason returns to her native Illinois and will be performing at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) where she will reprise her show "Secrets of the Ancient Divas" which pays homage to some of Karen's personal idols. She will be doing 6 performances - Thursday through Saturday, June 19th through 21st and Saturday through Monday, June 28th through 30th all at 8:00 pm except the Sunday show at 5:00 pm. She will perform the songs of such iconic singers as Judy Garland, Peggy Lee, Barbra Streisand, and more. There is a $37 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
