CABARET HOTLINE MEMBER EVENT - LONG ISLAND: ARTISTS IN PARTNERSHIP PRESENT FOLK-2-FUNK FESTIVAL - 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
FOLK-2-FUNK Festival, an eclectic mix of Folk, Americana, Funk and Blues, will be presented by Artists In Partnership on Friday through Sunday, April 4th through 6th at the LONG BEACH PUBLIC LIBRARY (111 West Park Avenue, Long Beach, NY - 516-432-7201). On Sunday, April 6th, there will be a mini-reception at 1:00pm to "meet the artist", Shaakir Thomas & view his music-inspired paintings, in the 2nd floor side wall Art Gallery. Light refreshments will be served. 1:30 pm features the Katie Mitchell-Condon Duo, followed at 2:00 pm by Christine Solimeno; 2:30 pm by Karlus Trapp; and at 3:45 pm by Spuyten Duyvil. All events are free and open to the public. As with all live entertainment events, cast subject to change without notice.
