TWO MORE MEMBERS OF CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE HAVE SHOWS TONIGHT IN NYC


NYC: DEAN BENNER AT MAMA'S WITH "HONKY TONK MOON"

Dean Benner is back with a new show, "Honky Tonk Moon" which will be performed at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Friday, November 15th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, November 23rd at 5:00 pm. It has a 'Grand Old Op'ry' style, with even some cabaret standards given a country twist. Special guest is Christine Shuler. He's gathered a great list of musicians for his band, with Richard Danley as musical director, Steve Doyle on bass, Dave Silliman on drums, Eddie Decker on guitar and Jonathan Russell on violin/fiddle. Linda Amiel Burns directs. And he's already recorded a CD of the show and paying attendees of the show will receive on free! There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.  $10 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

NYC: JERRY PHELPS PRESENTS "WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE"

Following a sold out run of his debut show, Jerry Phelps returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) with a new show, "With Friends Like These" on Fridays, November 1st, 15th, & 29th and December 13th, all shows at 9:15 pm. She show is an exploration of the beautiful and often complicated world of friendship. We have all manners of relationships with those people we've chosen to include in our lives, yet there's only one word that encompasses them all. In "With Friends Like These," Jerry Phelps explores the nuances of friendship: friends, frenemies, friends with benefits, friends with whom we fall in love, and friends that are no longer friends with the songs of Bob Dylan, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Maury Yeston, Carole King and many others. Bistro Award-winning Songwriter Brett Kristofferson serves as musical director and MAC Award winner Angela Shultz directs. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
