NYC: JUDY AND LIZA TOGETHER AGAIN AT MAMA' S

Cabaret favorites Tommy Femia and Rick Skye have teamed up for another evening of "Judy and Liza Together Again" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Saturdays, November 2nd, 16th & 30th at 8:00 pm. They are joined by Ricky Ritzel (as Mort) at the piano. These MAC Award winning performers (Best Impersonation) will pull out all the stops, singing classic solo's, parodies, duets and just plain whooping and hollering by the greatest mother/ daughter team in show biz history. Tommy Femia is a 7 time winner of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Award for his brilliant portrayal of Judy Garland in "Judy Garland LIVE!", now in it's 20th season at Don't Tell Mama. He has also starred in "Whoop-de-doo", "I Will Come Back" and, most recently, "Norma Does Men". Rick Skye is best known for writing a string of outrageous comic revues including "The Flip Side of Neil Sedaka", "MaCabaret - a tabloid fable", "The War of the Mama Roses", "It's Madame with an E" and the International hit - "A Slice O' Minnelli" for which has enjoyed successful season's in Covent Garden, at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End and at the Dublin Theatre Festival where he received the Award for "Best Achievement in Performance". There is a $25 cover charge and a 2 drink minimum.

NYC: MARYA ZIMMET IN OH, MY GOD-DESS!!

Marya Zimmet brings her show OH, MY GOD-DESS!! toDON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - ) on Saturday, November 16th at 4:30 pm. In this show, Marya will sing songs of love and longing, while at the same time obtaining relationship advice from some of her inner deities. She is joined by Don Rebic on piano and Rob Thomas on bass and violin. Together they will journey to mythic heights and depths via the Gershwins, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Bob Dorough, Bobby Timmons, Annie Ross, The Beatles and other renowned musical magicians. Directed by Barry Kleinbort. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: COLE ESCOLA IS A BIT OF A STRITCH

Internet comedian and downtown darling Cole Escola will perform his show "Cole Escola Is The First Gay President" atTHE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE(61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Friday & Saturday, November 15th & 16th at 7:00 pm. For the show, Cole has created an evening of sketches and characters for you to watch. Advance reservations are highly recommended. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.


NYC: BILL DAUGHERTY'S "ON THE RECORD" AT STAGE 72

"ON THE RECORD", a tribute to the great vocal groups of the 20th century, is being presented at STAGE 72 (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590) on Saturdays at 3:00 pm and Sundays at 6:00 pm through mid-December. "On The Record" is a 90 minute multi-media musical chronology of some of the most influential singing groups of the past three generations performed by 4 top notch New York performers - Bill Daugherty, Paul Kropfl, Amanda Savan and Deborah Tranelli. Backed by a combo under the direction of Doyle Newmyer they'll present over 25 gems using the Original Arrangements sung in the Original Keys! The Tony-winning star of South Pacific, Paul Szot, returns to headline at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) for a week-long engagement. Performances are Tuesday & Wednesday, November 5th at 7:00 pm & Wednesday, November 6th at 9:30 pm. Then he returns on Thursday, November 14th at 7:00 pm and Friday & Saturday, November 15th & 16th at 8:00 pm. In this brand new show, the Brazilian opera star presents a program of cherished classics from the American Songbook, as well as Brazilian and jazz favorites. Paulo is one of the most versatile and extraordinary singers to be heard today. Directed by Joe Langworth. Musical Director is Matthew Aucoin. Michael Zygo bring their myriad of instruments and skills to the 54 Below stage to play songs old and new.
