BETHESDA BLUES & JAZZ SUPPER CLUB (7719 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD - 240-330-4500) is proud to announce the appearance of Nashville-based blues singer Shaun Murphy, on Friday and Saturday June 21st and 22nd at 8:00 PM. Shaun Murphy is a singer's singer as evidenced through her rich body of work and professional associations with the cream of the musical crop. Eric Clapton, Bob Seger, Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat and Meatloaf can't all be wrong. It's no mystery that Murphy has withstood the test of time that marks all true artists. She's as vital today as she was when she first lit up the studio and stage with Bob Seger and teamed with Meatloaf for the album Stoney [Murphy] and Meatloaf. Though she's enjoyed prolonged residencies with Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band, Eric Clapton and most recently, Little Feat, her vocal stamp appears on records as diverse as Coco Montoya, Alice Cooper and Michael Bolton.
