Mary Cleere Haran Injured in Florida

Mary Cleere Haran, one of the foremost cabaret singers of the 1990s, was gravely injured in a biking accident on Thursday near Deerfield Beach, Fla., where she has been living for the last year, said a friend, Bridge McIntyre. Ms. Haran, 58, is known for her celebrations of the American songbook, especially the work of Rodgers and Hart, Harry Warren, and the music of Doris Day.
