NYC: PAULO SZOT AT THE CAFE CARLYLE IN FEBRUARY
THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600) has announced the 2011 Winter season of performers at the legendary Cafe Carlyle. Ringing in February will be Paulo Szot on Tuesdays through Saturdays, February 1st through 12th. There will be an added Valentine's Day performance on Sunday, February 14th - Each couple will receive a rose, a box of chocolates and two glasses of champagne ($100 cover). Paulo will be accompanied by The Bob Albanese Trio. Mr. Szot will present a program of songs culled from the Great American Songbook, the worlds of Broadway and Jazz, as well as tunes from his native Brazil. Performances are at 8:45 pm nightly, with an added late show on Saturdays at 10:45 pm. There is a $75 cover Tuesday through Friday, with a $85 cover on Saturdays.
