NYC: THE OTHER STEVE & EDIE AT THE BEECHMAN THROUGH SUNDAY

NYC: THE OTHER STEVE & EDIE AT THE BEECHMAN

THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) presents Edie Falco and Stephen Wallem, both currently starring in the hit Showtime series, Nurse Jackie, in The Other Steve and Edie, their brand new cabaret show (and Ms. Falco's cabaret debut) for three performances only, Friday through Sunday, February 4th through 6th at 7:00 pm. The Other Steve and Edie is conceived by Mr. Wallem and Ms. Falco, with musical direction by three-time After Dark Award winner, Beckie Menzie and Direction by Tony Humrichouser. Throughout the show, the duo will take on songs from contemporary pop to jazz standards, with a healthy dose of show tunes and original material, and even a salute to the other Steve and Eydie. Edie Falco became the only actress to ever receive the Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Lead Actress in a Dramatic Series,' the Golden Globe Award for 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Dramatic Television Series,' and the SAG Award for 'Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama,' all in the same year for her performance as 'Carmela Soprano' in the groundbreaking series The Sopranos' debut season. Stephen Wallem was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois, and worked as a stage actor and After Dark Award-winning cabaret singer in Chicago before moving to New York to make his television debut on Nurse Jackie. National tours include Forever Plaid, Into The Woods and Scrooge with Richard Chamberlain. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
