TODAY IN NYC: JANET PLANET TAKES "LIKE A COMPLETE UNKNOWN" UPTOWN
Jazz vocalist Janet Planet will present her show "Like a Complete Unknown" atFEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095 - ) on Friday & Saturday, August 13th & 14th at 8:30 pm after a one-night appearance at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM. Janet will sing from her repertoire of 20th century lyricists. Dylan to Dearie - Porter to Jobim as well as will perform songs from her recent project, "Of Thee I Sing," and previews coming attractions, her "Dylan Songbook" album, with a focus on Dylan's early compositions, due to be released this summer. There is a $30-$50 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
