London's hottest cabaret sensation, Miss Hope Springs, hits New York City to play THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, March 24th, at 9:30 pm pm for her inaugural US cabaret performance. With her acclaimed award winning all-original repertoire of toe-tappingly catchy showstoppers and tear jerkingly moving torch songs, the toast of London's West End cabaret scene and star of the famous Le Crazy Coqs cabaret for over 4 years, Miss Hope Springs arrives, suitcase in hand, to ply her 'laugh out loud-move you to tears' show in the mecca of cabaret that is Manhattan. Hope reveals the highs and lows of her 'Ritz to the pits' life and loves, and sings songs from across her repertoire, including those from her 1963 French album Je m'appelle Hope to 1974s Miss Hope Springs Swings with Strings. Miss Hope Springs is the creation of actor, comedian, composer/ lyricist/ pianist /singer Ty Jeffries, son of British screen legend Lionel Jeffries (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Camelot, Notorious Landlady). Ty has won Best Cabaret The Stage (London), Best Cabaret Brighton Fringe (UK) and was nominated Best Musical Variety Act London Cabaret Awards 2015. This is Ty's very first time appearing in the USA. There is a $24 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
