MargOH! Channing with MAN-ee Champagne present UNCORKED at PANGEA (178 Second Avenue, NYC - 212-995-0900) on Thursdays, January 28th and February 4th - both shows at 7:30 pm. UNCORKED! is a boozy romp - the type only MargOH! can do. This is the deconstruction of drag, through the life and times of this often demented, occasionally glamorous and always drunken Diva as she (with MAN-ee Champagne's hazy but unfaltering support) tackles topics such as rape, incest, politics and the one thing we all have in common: dysfunction! Comedic monologues, original music and sloshy standards, this brassy, boozy chanteuse and her glitter-dipped Gayiance will pop your cork with love, laughter, booze and song. Joining in on the madness on January 28th is LGBTQ ICON ,multi-platinum recording artist and founding member of The Village People, Randy Jones and on February 4th MargOH! welcomes Broadway, cabaret and recording star Nellie McKay, Musical direction by Tracy Stark. NYC: 3 DECADES IN THE DARK - RAISSA AND KENNETH GO TO THE MOVIES
Grab 2 seats on the aisle and join Raissa Katona Bennett and Kenneth Gartman as they reprise their acclaimed show "RAISSA AND KENNETH GO TO THE MOVIES" - a celluloid flashback to the movies of the 70s, 80s, and 90's at THE THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Wednesday, February 17th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, February 21st at 4:00 pm. From Disaster Movies to Drama and Romantic Comedies to Action/ Adventure and The Muppets, this show is sure to have a happy ending. Raissa & Kenneth are joined on stage by Matt Scharfglass on Bass. Musical direction is by Kenneth Gartman, and the show is directed by Lennie Watts. There is a $25 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum. NYC: ENCORE OF ROCHELLE AND PAUL CHAMLIN'S "LIFE IS... " AT DON'T TELL MAMA
Rochelle and Paul Chamlin will present a reprise of their acclaimed show "Life Is ...." at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Tuesday, February 16th at 7:00 pm and Sunday, February 28th at 4:00 pm. "Life Is ..." is a tuneful, irreverent, and ultimately uplifting journey through life's many dimensions. This rich theme allows Paul and Rochelle to explore an eclectic range of songs that touch on everything from joy and optimism to romance, heartbreak, ambition, disappointment, determination, and resilience. The show is directed by the celebrated cabaret performer Teresa Fischer, and features Tom Hubbard on Bass. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
