LONDON: BARB JUNGR'S FESTIVE FEELINGS
Celebrate the festive season with "Britain's best cabaret singer" and acclaimed international jazz recording and performance artist Barb Jungr at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL(20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Saturday, December 2nd through 12th at 8:00 pm in this brilliantly created collection and collaboration. With pianist Jenny Carr and maestro jazz trumpeter and vocalist Pete Horsfall, Barb presents songs from every corner with her usual swing and panache, both traditional and from the box of surprises! Nodding to Dylan's Christmas album, Joni Mitchell and the great songs from all genres and persuasions of this special time of year, prepare to party (in an elegant jazz/ cabaret kind of way). LONDON: SWING NIGHT WITH THE S`WONDERFUL JAZZ BAND AT THE CRAZY COQS
The S'Wonderful Jazz Band is ready to swing for a night of jazz and dance at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Friday, December 11th at 10:30 pm as part of the club's Swing Night Series. The group consists of Emiliano Caroselli on drums, Marta Capponi (vocals), Lance Rose on double bass, Rick Simpson on piano, and special guest Andy Davies on trumpet. Born out of the late night jam sessions at Ronnie Scott's and other hot clubs around town, they are a group of musicians performing at the top of the UK jazz scene. The vast repertoire of their music is from the 30's to the 60's and they bring to their shows a touch of nostalgia, but their performances are pure energy! S'Wonderful is headed by the incredible Marta Capponi's voice, recalling the great Divas of the past and the amazing trumpet of Andy Davies.
