NYC: STEVEN CHERA & THE DUPLEX PRESENT: "MY FAVORITE LOVE SONGS"

Steve Chera and The BobKaye Trio will perform at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Thursday, May 7th at 9:00 pm. Steve has been capturing the attention of critics and taste-makers in New York City, as well as crafting a unique cross-generational audience by blending the classic American Songbook from the '20s to the '40s with early Rock n' Roll from the '50s through the '70s. Come join him on the journey across a half century of the classics while he sings "My Favorite Love Songs." There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

LONDON: OPEN MIC NIGHT AT THE CRAZY COQS 

Harold Sanditen, jazz-cabaret singer and veteran theatre producer, is host of Open Mic Night at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) every Thursday at 10:30 pm, ably supported by regular musicians Michael Roulston on piano and Jonty Fisher on bass. It is always an entertaining evening full of fun and surprise. Aimed at both the jazz and theatrical communities, The Crazy Coqs Open Mic Night welcomes all singers, composers and musicians, up & coming and established, who want to do a turn, performing new material or old favourites. For the audience, come and catch that proverbial 'rising star' (or possibly a famous West End name) in the intimate, "jewel-box" surroundings of The Crazy Coqs. Call for cover/minimum information.
