CHICAGO: JAMIE MATHEWS - IT'S COMPLICATED
Singer and psychologist, Jamie Mathews, shares some of her musings and favorite songs highlighting the unpredictable, often complicated nature of love and our uncanny willingness to dive head first into those complications at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Thursday, May 7th at 8:00 pm. Jamie is making her Davenport's Cabaret debut! Accompaniment and music direction will be provided by Mark Burnell. Mark leads a jazz trio every Saturday at the Tortoise Club, and he also plays at the Signature Room at the 95th. A founding member of Chicago Cabaret Professionals, Mark was a music theater vocal coach for 10 years at Carnegie Mellon, where he earned an MFA. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
