CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: JEREMY ABRAM: LOVE BLACTUALLY
Jeremy Abram returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, December 8th at 9:30 pm in an all new show, 'Love Blactually'. He was last seen in the world premiere, one man show, 'Louis Armstrong: Jazz Ambassador', Off Broadway. Musically directed by Tracy Stark, 'Love Blactually' will feature music inspired by the loves and lovers personally experienced by Mr. Abram. Backed with powerhouse musicians: Tracy Stark (piano), Joe Cogen (percussion) and Andrew Nielson (cello), & special guest, Alex Hayes of The Uptown Party Down, the show features the music of Harold Arlen, Leonard Bernstein, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Carole King, and many more. Mr. Abram also returns to his roots of New Orleans with a Louis Armstrong medley, arranged by Carsten Rubeling. This will be an evening filled with passionate performances and poignant anecdotes not to be missed. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
