CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: A DOZEN DIVAS IN ONE BRING HOLIDAY CHEER TO XL CLUB NYC
Vocalist/ comedian/ impressionist Dorothy Bishop makes her XL debut as a whole stageful of divas with her all-new show "THE DOZEN DIVAS HOLIDAY REVUE" at XL NIGHTCLUB, CABARET & LOUNGE (512 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-239-2999 ) on Monday, December 9th at 8:00 pm. The versatile Ms. Bishop is not only a sensation in her own right, belting out everything from disco to "Nessun Dorma," she offers spot-on imitations of classic gay icons Streisand, Garland, Bassey and, of course, Cher. With the flip of a wig, she goes on to spoof Sarah Brightman (PHANTOM OF THE OPERA), Broadway's Kristen Chenoweth and the queen of rock and roll herself, Stevie Nicks. Thus The Dozen Divas Show was born, and has already made its official Broadway Supper Club debut at the gorgeous new Klub Kazino (produced by Howard Kagan (Kinky Boots, Pippin) and John Iachetti (Feinstein's). Dorothy promises you a hilarious holiday evening in which Streisand sings Kei$ha, Adele and Shirley Bassey wail, Stevie Nicks sprinkles you with fairy dust and Kristin Chenoweth gives you a voice lesson! No cover charge.
