THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Monday, December 9th at 8:00 pm. STORMY WEATHER, a one-off show in aid of Leuka, the specialist charity for leukaemia research, addresses the ups and downs of life with a light, humorous touch, through a variety of music performed by Adam Kirkaldy and the renowned Stefan Bednarczyk. By day Front of House Training Manager for Rex Restaurant Associates, Adam studied opera at university in Johannesburg and enjoyed a successful career in musical theatre before moving into education and the world of restaurants. He has worked with Chris Corbin, co-owner of The Wolseley, The Delaunay, Brasserie Zedel and Colbert, for over five years. Chris is a Trustee and Vice-Chairman of Leuka and a survivor of chronic myeloid leukaemia. Adam is joined by Stefan Bednarczyk, actor, musical director and cabaret performer. Stefan's extensive credits as Musical Director include shows at the National Theatre, the Barbican, the Almeida, Hampstead and Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park, and most recently, the British premiere of Boy Meets Boy at the Jermyn Street Theatre. As a solo cabaret performer he has enjoyed seasons in London, New York and many major European cities. His acclaimed show An Evening Of Flanders and Swann - originally commissioned by the widows of Michael and Donald - has been seen in America, Australia, the Middle East and Europe - as well as throughout the UK. The full ticket price (which includes a glass of cremant on arrival) will be donated to Leuka.
