NYC: STEVEN CHERA IN A NEW YORK STATE OF MIND
CELEBRATING MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
Steven Chera will be performing at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Thursday, March 14th at 9:30 pm. Steve is a singer/song stylist of traditional pop, jazz, & easy listening. Over his life-long career as a singer he has developed an eclectic range of shows featuring music from the 1930s/1940s jazz standards, 1950s rock, to the swinging hits of the 1960s & 70s. The Brooklyn born Chera spent his early years listening and studying music legends like Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin,Frank Sinatra and of course Elvis Presley. Even though he has responsibilities of working in the family retail business he never stopped pursuing music. His friends jokingly refer to him as "Elvis." There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
