NYC: NO NAME PRESENTS THE UPTOWN CABARET SPOTLIGHT!
Host Alexandra de Suze and Musical Director Marilynn Seits host a monthly evening of cabaret at INDIAN ROAD CAFE (600 West 218th Street, NYC - 212-942-7451) with a featured guest artist. Held the third THURSDAY of every month. On Thursday, September 20th at 7:00 pm, No Name Presents: The Uptown Cabaret Spotlight, will be featuring featuring composer Julian Blackmore. When not being the hand double for Jesse Eisenberg in the upcoming film Why Stop Now? or music directing the new musical Spandex, he has recently been working on his new work Acadamia Nuts and setting Klingon lyrics to music. Indian Road Cafe offers an excellent wine and beer and coffee!-selection as well as great food from paninis to lobster mac and cheese all amidst a warm and casual atmosphere. Check out their "punch of the week" along with other fab cocktails! They also are home to a monthly singer/songwriter open mic, comedy shows and classical performances by Opera On Tap.
