NYC: MIKEL MAFARO IN 'ROMANCE ME'
Mikel Mafaro and The Cafe Ame'ricain Band debuts at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Wednesday, September 19th at 9:30 pm with his new show 'Romance Me', a salute to Casablanca and Ricks Cafe, the greatest love story ever told through the poetry of song. This show is filled with songs of dreams, hope and of love. Mikel is a retro performer and his roots in this genre of music began at a young age, listening to Billie Holiday, Ella, Sinatra, etc., along with the passion for the films of that period. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
