NYC: BALLETS WITH A TWIST JOINS CYNDI LAUPER FOR TRUE COLORS FUND
Following sold-out performances in June, Ballets with a Twist, the hottest of the next generation of ballet companies, has announced a new performance date for its intoxicating evening of dance, Cocktail Hour. On Thursday, September 20th at 8:00 pm, Ballets with a Twist will dance at XL NIGHTCLUB, CABARET & LOUNGE (512 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-239-2999) to benefit the True Colors Fund (http://www.truecolorsfund.org/ ). This organization was co-founded by music, style and cultural icon Cyndi Lauper in support of equality for all and to bring an end to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth homelessness. The nightclub has donated its sleek cabaret space for the event, and Lauper will be on hand for an intimate performance of "True Colors," which is sure to make the evening truly unforgettable.
