SF: EMILY BERGL OF "DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES" AT THE RRAZZ
RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189) presents the return of acclaimed singer and actress Emily Bergl on Friday & Saturday & Sunday, July 27th & 28th at 9:30 pm and Sunday, July 29th at 7:00 pm with her new show "NY I Love You." Bergl may be best known for her role on "Desperate Housewives," but she recently burst onto the club scene in New York with sold out runs at The Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room and the Cafe Carlyle, receiving raves. Her acclaimed one-woman shows have since been seen in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego, Seattle and Las Vegas. Kidding On The Square, her debut album - recorded live at the Oak Room - is now available on Amazon and iTunes. "NY I Love You" is an evening of song and stories that explores a life-long love affair with the Big Apple and all the characters that call Manhattan home, with classic tunes from Rodgers and Hart to Gus Kahn, and sly reinventions of modern pop from the Beach Boys to Cyndi Lauper. She is joined on piano by San Francisco's G. Scott Lacy. There is a $35 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
