Former American Idol contestant, Melinda Doolittle, is sure to be very cabaret when she brings her show to THE CABARET AT THE COLUMBIA CLUB (121 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN - 317-275-1169 ) on Friday & Saturday, July 27th & 28th at 8:00 pm. And, with all due respect to Simon Cowell, she's not about to apologize for it! After two critically acclaimed runs at Feinstein's in NYC, Melinda brings her show featuring jazz standards, pop hits, Broadway classics and songs from her recent CD to The Cabaret. She got her start as a backup singer for Michael McDonald, Aretha Franklin and Aaron Neville and others. Since then, Melinda has wowed audiences from the White House and the Kennedy Center to Carnegie Hall. There is a $35-$45-$55 cover plus a $12 food/drink minimum.
