NYC: SINGER-SONGWRITER KRISTINE MILLS AT METROPOLITAN ROOM
Houston's sultry songbird Kristine Mills returns to the THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) the scene of her New York debut in February, to premiere "Patch of Green," an all-original set of new songs, on Wednesday June 27th, at 9:30 pm. For the show, the award-winning singer-songwriter will perform highlights from her upcoming CD, "As Yet Untitled," and the Concerts for City Greens song contest semifinalist "Patch of Green." Kristine performed "Patch of Green" in its first public performance on June 20th, as a featured guest of the free outdoor summer concert series at Tudor City Greens. At the Metropolitan Room, the Houston native is backed by a trio of New York-based musicians, including the emerging pianist Lafayette Harris, Jr.; acclaimed bassist David Dunaway, and the iconoclastic drummer Jacob Melchior. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
