NYC: LAURA OSNES IN HER CABARET DEBUT AT CAFE CARLYLE
Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes will make her cabaret debut at the legendary THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-570-7189 - ) in an exclusive two-week engagement, Tuesday, June 19th through Saturday, June 30th at 8:45 pm. Three performances (Thursday through Saturday) will be recorded for a Broadway Records CD release. Ms. Osnes will present an evening of songs culled from Broadway, the Great American Songbook, as well as from the worlds of jazz and folk. During the recording dates, she will be joined by special guests Jeremy Jordan (Bonnie & Clyde, Newsies) on June 28th, Tom Wopat (Catch Me If You Can) on June 29th and Max Crumm (Grease) on June 30th. There will be other surprise special guests during the Caryle engagement. Ms. Osnes will be accompanied by a quartet led by her Musical Director Fred Lassen on piano. Joe Langworth directs. The album will be produced by Fred Lassen and Aaron Ankrum and executive produced by Van Dean and Kenny Howard. There is a $65 cover Tuesday through Thursday, and $75 cover Fridays & Saturdays,
