Nancy Stearns returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 6th, both shows at 7:00 pm with her new show, "The Wish". With her music director, Gregory Toroian, on piano, and David Finck, on bass, Nancy will present songs that reflect the many different things we wish for at different times in our lives - love and friendship, fame and fortune, the comforts of home, peace in the world, laughter, joy, and always, music. The show is directed by Helen Baldassare. Since 2001, Nancy has performed solo shows annually at Don't Tell Mama, and more recently, at the Metropolitan Room. She has recorded six of those shows. Her CDs are available at CDBABY.com and her most recent CD, "Weather or Not" is also available at iTunes. Nancy is the administrator for Helen Baldassare's Cabaret Performance Workshop. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $10 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
