Harry Althaus will appear in The Strip Show atDON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Friday, May 4th at 7:00 pm; Sunday, May 6th at 6:00 pm; and Friday, May 11th at 7:00 pm. The Strip Show is an irreverent look at what it means to reveal what's underneath. It's an exploration of stripping literally and otherwise, through stories and songs by Fats Waller, Queen, David Pomeranz, and many others through the lens of a classic burlesque show. Althaus is an award-winning actor who has appeared in Chicago productions of Gross Indecency, The Lisbon Traviata (Joseph Jefferson Citation, After Dark Award), It's Only A Play, Richard II, Travesties, The Misanthrope, and many others. He performed in regional productions of Gross Indecency and Taking Sides, and made his Off-Broadway debut in Once Around The City (Second Stage). Althaus has appeared in featured roles in episodes of Lipstick Jungle, Law & Order, and Early Edition, and has been seen in several commercials. Direction for The Strip Show is by Lennie Watts, and musical direction is by Tracy Stark. Also appearing are Joshua Warr and James Wells. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
