NYC: KELLY CLINTON RETURNS FOR WEEK-LONG MET ROOM ENGAGEMENT
The Las Vegas-based entertainer Kelly Clinton reprises her unique, freewheeling club act "Freckles and 80-Year-Old Bones" atTHE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday May 7th, 9th & 10th at 7:00 pm and Friday, May 11th at 9:30 pm. A nightclub force in Las Vegas both on stage and behind the scenes, Clinton marries song, comedy, and character work in a variety-flavored mix that harks back to Ball and Burnett while keeping pace with modern tastes. Backing Clinton are the New York-based Jeff Neiman, her music director on keyboards, Steve Bescrone on bass, and Sherrie Maricle on drums. A New Jersey native who has lived in Las Vegas for the past 20 years, Clinton currently headlines at Las Vegas's exclusive Stirling Club at Turnberry Towers, where she also serves as entertainment director. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
