Russell Thompkins Jr. & The New Stylistics, with Kenneth R. Thompkins, Musical Director, will perform at RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO(222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189) Wednesday through Friday, March 28th through 30th at 8:00 pm; Saturday, March 31st at 7:00 & 9:30 pm; and Sunday, April 1st at 7:00 pm. Russell's distinctive falsetto was the driving force and the backbone of the original Stylistics who garnered: 7 gold albums, 5 gold singles, 2 double gold singles, 8 platinum albums, 1 double platinum album, 4 platinum singles, a Grammy nomination in 1974 for "You make Me Feel Brand New," a plaque on the Walk of Fame in center city Philadelphia in 1974, as well as various awards and trophies from around the world. In May of 2004, they were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. There is a $42.50 - $47.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
