A MARCH IS CABARET MONTH EVENT
CCP (Chicago Cabaret Professionals) presents: "Broadway on the Two's! - The Great Story Songs from 1930-2010" at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on 4 Sundays in March, the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th, all shows at 7:00 pm. Over 30 talented singers will perform America's favorite Broadway hits from years that end in "2". From songs that became staples in the Great American Song Book from 1932, 42 & 52, to the Broadway classics that brought us stars like Barbra Streisand in 1962. Then, the transition shows of 72 & 82 as we move into the grand spectacle musical that led to the technically advanced shows of 92 & 2002. Over four weekends, you can watch where Broadway started and where we are today, all through the years that end in "2".
