Celebrated cabaret performer Jamie deRoy hosts two nights of her Multi MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie deRoy & friends at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Tuesday & Wednesday, October 4th & 5th at 7:00 pm. Tuesday, October 4th will feature lyricist & composer duo Amanda Yesnowitz & Deborah Abramson; singer-songwriter David Buskin (Buskin & Batteau); lyricist & composer team Marcy Heisler & Zina Goldrich (Dear Edwina); and well known songwriter and jingle writer Jake Holmes. An additional treat will be Tony Nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime) who will perform Wish on the Moon, a new song written by Jamie deRoy, Barry Kleinbort and Shelly Markham. Barry Kleinbort will direct and Shelly Markham will serve as musical director. The colorful cabaret series, which has been thrilling New York City audiences for the past 21 years and serves as the basis for deRoy's award-winning cable television show, spotlights a wide variety of well-known entertainers and newcomers lighting up the cabaret, theater, and comedy worlds.
