NYC: DARYL GLENN & FRIENDS: CD FUNDRAISING CONCERT - MUST SEE CABARET
Daryl Glenn hosts an evening of song to raise funds for the completion of his debut album "local favorite ... daryl glenn" at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Tuesday, June 28th at 7:00 pm. Mr. Glenn will premiere songs scheduled for the recording as well as present an insanely talented group of entertainers to keep the evening festive. Scheduled to appear are Liz Lark Brown, Jo Lynn Burks, Cathy Cervenka, Anthony Cochran, Karen Dryer, Joe Iconis and Tanya Holt with Fred Kennedy (percussion), Jens Kramer (fiddle) and Matt Wigton (bass) providing the musical accompaniment. Ms. Burks and Ms. Dryer will share duty on the piano. Songs will run the gamut from country to folk to show tunes to rock and everything in between. There is no cover charge and a 2 drink minimum.
