A MARCH IS CABARET MONTH EVENT
Vocalist Maude Maggart, who first captivated Oak Room audiences six years ago with her "transformative interpretations" of the Great American Songbook, returns to the THE ALGONQUIN OAK ROOM (59 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-419-9331) on Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:30 pm (with late shows on Friday & Saturday at 11:00 pm) through March 12th with a new show exploring varieties of romantic experience, performing such Sinatra classics as "The Lady Is A Tramp," "The Best is Yet To Come" and "I Wished On The Moon"; two by Stephen Sondheim, "More" and "Everybody Says Don't," and from the 20s, an iconic era for Maude, "A New Kind of Man with a New Kind of Love for Me," among others. Maude will be accompanied on piano by John Boswell. There is a $50 cover plus either a $30 food/drink minimum or a $60 prix fixe dinner.
