NYC: CATE COX TO PROWL THE DUPLEX
Jazz/cabaret vocalist Cate Cox brings her show "Prowl" to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Friday, February 11th at 7:00 pm. She is accompanied by Michael Larsen. Part jazz-singer, part torch singer, part indie-pop princess, Cate Cox is infinitely watchable and enviably hard to define. A highly intelligent, other-worldly cabaret poet, purposely allowing her enigmatic world to entrap us and enthrall us. Cate is in the moment, living the life of chanteuse-chronicler of her undeniably interesting days and nights. Her voice is at once reedy, unadorned and real, musically unpredictable and innovative. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
