NYC: CAROL SHEDLIN RETURNS TO MAMA'S WITH NEW SHOW
Carol Shedlin returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) for four performances in February of her new show "Name Dropping", with long time musical director Jon Delfin. The show is directed by Aaron Morishita. Performances are scheduled for Tuesday, February 8th at 7:00 pm; Thursday, February 10th at 7:00 pm; Saturday, February 26th at 7:30 pm; and Monday, February 28th at 7:00 pm. Celebrating more than 18 years of "impeccable musical taste", "Name Dropping" continues Carol's tradition of featuring an eclectic song list, mixing old favorites and lesser known rarities. In this new show, Carol is happy to be dropping names of special people who have helped shape and influence her personal musical style. Carol sings and shares intriguing anecdotes about magical encounters - some simply brief brushes, others life-long friendships - which enriched her journey from bookworm to cabaret singer, performing under a pink spotlight. There's a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.'
