NYC: THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1921 KICKS OF BBTY SERIES
THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - 212-997-1929) presents the 11th season of its acclaimed Broadway By The Year series, created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall on Valentine's Day, Monday, February 14th at 8:00 pm. Kicking off the 90th Anniversary of The Town Hall, the Broadway By The Year season will begin with THE BROADWAY MUSICALS of 1921, celebrating the great music that was performed the same year the historic building came to be,including The Follies, The Music Box Revues, The Scandals and more. The cast will include Broadway by the Year favorites Kendrick Jones (most recently seen starring in The Scottsboro Boys on Broadway), Christiane Noll and Bobby Steggert (Tony Nominated for their performances in Ragtime), and Jeffry Denman, who returns after directing, choreographing and starring in last summer's critically acclaimed All Singin' All Dancin'. Broadway by the Year takes the audience on a musical journey through the best of the Great White Way, featuring show-stopping numbers as well as lesser-known gems and little known facts and humor about our favorite shows. This season's shows will include the Broadway musicals of 1921, 1932, 1982 and 1997.
