L.A.: TOM DiMENNA AS TELLY SAVALAS IN "WHO LOVES YOU, BABY?"
Tom DiMenna appears as Telly Savalas, in "Who Loves You, Baby?" at the THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444 ) on Wednesday & Thursday, February 16th & 17th at 9:00 pm. Written by Hunter Nelson and directed by Taylor Negron, who met DiMenna at the Edinburgh Fringe two years ago, this show casts a comic light on Telly Savalas' strange grip on the culture of the 1970's in this resurrection of "Savalas the Interpreter of Love Songs," who has returned from heaven with his swaggering charisma to help the "cynical, bed-headed, twenty-somethings of today" re-connect to "That Lovin' Feelin'" that made Savalas, "The Golden Greek," and the era he embodied, so unique.
