NYC: KEVIN DOZIER AND GUESTS IN "TAKE ME TO THE WORLD"
Singer Kevin Dozier will reprise his acclaimed cabaret show "TAKE ME TO THE WORLD" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Tuesday, December 21st at 7:30 pm. The holiday evening, directed by Lennie Watts, includes songs by Maltby & Shire, Jones & Schmidt, Irving Berlin, Jerry Herman, Lerner & Loewe, Stephen Sondheim, Noel Coward, Ervin Drake, Rusty Magee, Alex Rybeck and others. Kevin debuted "Take Me to the World" at Feinstein's earlier this year to universal raves followed by an extended engagement at the Laurie Beechman Theatre this fall. Kevin will again be joined by Musical Director Alex Rybeck at the piano with Dick Sarpola on Bass and John Redsecker on drums. Kevin's special guests on December 21st will be Terese Genecco, Stearns Matthews and Marianne Challis. There is a $10 cover with a 2 drink minimum.
