NYC: DARREN WILLIAMS RETURNS FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY
Australian Entertainer of the Year Darren Williams returns to the States to make his debut at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) for one night only, on Wednesday, December 22nd at 9:30 pm. Mr. Williams brings his Peter Allen show, "Not the Boy Next Door: the Peter Allen Songbook," for this one public concert at the Beechman. The show includes crowd-pleasing show-stoppers like "I Go To Rio," "Arthur's Theme," "I Honestly Love You" and "Don't Cry Out Loud" as well as lesser-known songs from the prolific Peter Allen songbook. Mr. Williams, who has often been compared to Allen, brings night club entertainment to a new level with his unique brand of rafter-raising delivery and openness with a lyric that is compelling. Dennis Buck will be musical director with his trio. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
