INTERNATIONAL CABARET CONFERENCE AT YALE DATES ANNOUNCED
Director/Artistic Director, takes pride in announcing the Ninth Annual International Cabaret Conference at Yale University which will be held July 22nd through July 31st, 2011. Auditions for the conference have previously been held in: Atlanta, Amsterdam, Boston, Chicago, Jerusalem, London UK, Los Angeles, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New Orleans, New York, Seattle, Toronto, and Washington DC. The International Cabaret Conference At Yale University is an intensive nine-day teaching program in the art of cabaret performance and trains professionals for the live entertainment industry. The Great American Songbook is addressed and promoted in its entirety, from its origins in the late 19th century through the classic pop standards of the 1930s and '40s to today's contemporary cabaret, musical theater, jazz and pop music. Participating students have come from the USA, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa and the United Kingdom. All classes are conducted in English.
