NYC: DANNY LEARY PREMIERES NEW VARIETY SHOW
Comedian Danny Leary (Logo Network, MTV, here! TV, Animal Planet) is back with a brand new variety show which will premiere in the plush new COPPER ROOM AT COMIX (353 West 14th Street, NYC - 212-524-2500) on Thursday, July 29th at 8:00 pm. Leary, who is known in New York City for his popular comedy show "On the Rocks" that ran for over two years at The Duplex and featured eclectic lineups, promises even more spectacle in his new endeavor. Simply named, "[untitled] Danny Leary Variety Extravaganza," this new series features pop-culture music tribute medleys performed by Broadway and cabaret vocalists, original sketch comedy, big chorus dance numbers, Q&A's with celebrity guests, re-enacted scenes from vintage TV shows and "Oprah style" audience giveaways. There is a $10 cover - no minimum.
