S.F.: LINDA CIOFALO WITH DANCING WITH JOHNNY! CD RELEASE
Linda Ciofalo heads to the West Coast to celebrate her new CD with a series of performances continuing at RASSELAS JAZZ CLUB (1534 Fillmore Street, San Francisco,CA - 415-346-8696) on Tuesday, June 29th at 7:00 pm. She is joined by the David Udolf Trio. The CD, Dancing With Johnny, is a tribute to the great songwriter Johnny Mercer personalizing Mercer selections with a distinct Latin flair. Dancing With Johnny also features stellar musicians John DiMartino (piano), John Benitez (bass), Ernesto Simpson (drums), Little Johnny Rivero (percussion), Paul Meyers (nylon string guitar), Chieli Minucci (electric guitar and effex), Joel Frahm (saxophones), and Grammy-winning trumpeter Brian Lynch.
