Jack Wrangler, musical theater producer and director, who had been a child television actor and then star of more than 85 pornographic films, died on the morning of April 7th. He was the husband of recording star Margaret Whiting. Jack was co-producer of the cabaret, Dream, which featured songs of Johnny Mercer and included Margaret Whiting in the cast, and wrote and produced several theater works, including Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
Margaret's daughter has asked that people NOT try to contact Margaret until at least Thursday, to give her time to come to terms with Jack's death. Memorial / funeral arrangements are not yet finalized.
