CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL MAC AWARD NOMINEES!
Congratulations on your 2009 MAC AWARD NOMINATION - placing you in the select few in your category chosen by the MAC membership. You have every reason to be proud today!
There is one more step in the process, and that is the final ballot. And, as one of the few in your category, it is important that the MAC voters are fully aware of your talents, your accomplishments and your qualifications to be among that chosen few.
If you have a special cabaret event or show that will help the voters get more familiar with your work - especially those who did not see your event in 2008, getting the word out is most vital. You see, MAC voters may only vote for performers who's shows they have actually seen. A workshop or a showcase that only presents a sample of your work isn't really enough.
And the problem is, the final ballots are just now going out and are to be completed and returned in a very short time. That's where CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE stands ready to help.
Please send me an e-mail press release (with your latest jpg headshot) concerning any cabaret events you have planned to help introduce the MAC voters to you and your work. I can get the word out quickly - not just to a few hundred MAC voters, but to all 2700 free subscribers to our twice-weekly newsletter and our 6300 page website - visited by as many as 6000 readers each day. Our next issue goes out this Thursday, April 9th.
Plus, if you run an ad on the CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE website (available for as little as $25 per week) your event gets mentioned in EVERY ISSUE while you ad is running! Drop me a line for details. We can have your ad up and running in 48 hours or less. (Space is limited - 2-week minimum on all ads).
CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE has been promoting the art and the artists of cabaret since 1990 - on the internet since 1997. Our purpose is to promote and publicize folks like you - especially these days when publications cover cabaret less and less.
Congratulations once more - and please, take advantage of the many ways we can tell folks about you - our newsletter, our CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE website, our BLOG and even our Mobile Website - for folks with iPhones! .
We're ready to serve.
