NYC: IN THE MET ROOM TONIGHT IN NYC: TERESA EGGERTSEN COOKE'S "DECADES OF SONG"
Teresa Eggertsen Cooke takes you on a musical journey in her truly eclectic way in "Decades of Song" at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440), on Wednesday, April 27th, at 7:00 pm. The new "Decades of Song" will include songs of Artists from different Genres and eras, some include: Luther Vandross, The Carpenter's, Cole Porter, Melissa Manchester, Elton John, to name a few...but so many more! "You never know what I will play" "Sometimes it is just how I read the room" Teresa says. Although this sometimes drives her musicians Iris Ornig (Bass), and Linus Wyrsch (Sax and Clarinet) crazy! Surely you will hear one or more of your favorites on both evenings! A native of Park City, Utah, Teresa Eggertsen Cooke is a resident artist known by Metropolitan Room audiences for her musical programs "Decades of Song" , and "Joy!" and most recently, "A Mother's Day Martini Matinee". She is overjoyed to be taking her newest creation back to the east coast. The music and lyrics Teresa plays and sings are most diverse. Reservations are highly recommended.
