NYC: CHARLOTTE PATTON: CELEBRATING MEN (BLESS THEIR HEARTS)

She's been married and not. She's had serious relationships, flings, and romances with men of all ages (but mostly younger). She's experienced all the charms, foibles, and idiosyncrasies of the opposite sex - and loves them anyway. Now, actress and comedian Charlotte Patton will bring all of that worldly wisdom to her sensual, provocative, and playful new cabaret show "Celebrating Men (Bless Their Hearts)," to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) for four performances: Thursday, May 28th at 9:30 pm; Monday, June 29th at 9:30 pm; Friday, July 31st at 7:00 pm; and Thursday, August 20th at 7:00 pm. Patton's show is Directed by Award-winning cabaret performer Karen Oberlin with Musical Direction by MAC Award winner Barry Levitt. Recent MAC Award winner Tom Hubbard is on bass. Peter Napolitano contributes as Creative Consultant. This show celebrates men with all their foibles and idiocyncrasies set to the music of Peggy Lee, Jimmy McHugh, Harry Nilsson and many others. NYC: BRETT DRUCK'S OMNICOMEDY AT THE MET

Brett Druck's OMNICOMEDY featuring Andy Kaufman Award Winner Marcus Monroe, Comedian Erik Bransteen and Magician Mark Phillip Lichtenstein will be presented at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, August 20th at 9:30 pm. The show also features performances by the Omnicomedy House Band lead by Ryan Vaughn & Dan White. The show is produced by Janine Lee Papio. Comic Marcus Monroe is a New York based award winning comedian and juggler. He is the recipient of the prestigious Andy Kaufman Award and has recently appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman. His performance is a high-energy blend of innovative juggling with in your face comedic banter. Marcus is a favorite among cruise lines, performing arts centers, colleges and music festivals. This past year Marcus starred in the Olivier Award winning Off-Broadway and London production La Soires. Mark Philip Lichtenstein is a lifelong magician. Magic is something of a tradition in Mark's family, as his father is a passionate amateur magician. A graduate of both a four year art school and a four year film school, Mark has a unique perspective on the construction and performance of magic. Performing at high end private events, he specializes in traditional magic, mind reading and psychokinesis, which includes moving objects and bending metal "with the power of the mind." Of course, all of these things are just tricks. Erik Bransteen performs regularly in comedy clubs around NYC. He has appeared on FOX, Time Out NY and written jokes for TMZ, ABC, and SNL's Weekend Update. Brett Druck is concentrated funny, a straight shot of smart precise humor that sticks with audiences long after the show is over. He has been featured in countless comedy festivals including TBS's Just for Laughs Chicago, as a finalist in The Andy Kaufman Award, the Charleston Comedy Festival and recently winning the 2014 Hoboken Comedy Festival. He can be seen most recently on Live at New York Comedy Club and performing in comedy clubs around New York City and the tri-state area. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
