LONDON: BARBARA DICKSON WITH NICK HOLLAND AT THE PHEASANTRY
Barbara Dickson performs at THE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Sunday & Monday, August 16th (8:00 pm) & 17th (8:30 pm). In these special acoustic shows, Barbara Dickson is joined by her pianist Nick Holland in an intimate exploration of her catalogue of songs. The pair let the words and melodies take 'centre stage' as they perform a wonderful range of material drawing on Barbara's folk roots, her latest exploration of the songs of Gerry Rafferty, and some of her classic hit records. In 2009, Barbara and Nick started working as a 'duo' where she played all the guitars and piano and Nick, keyboards and vocals. Since then, they have played together in Cathedrals and Abbeys, Folk Festivals and Theatres and developed an intimate rapport with each other and the audience. Call for cover/minimum information.
