Wowing San Diego audiences for more than 20 years as a duo, Andy Anderson's sultry and resonant baritone breathes new life into the standard, pop, blues and Broadway songs he performs with his musical partner, the stunningly talented keyboardist Nathan Fry. With his dazzling stage presence and witty asides, Andy is as entertaining as he is musical, while Nathan's virtuosity speaks for itself. No cover show.

LOS ANGELES, CA: TERESA EGGERTSEN COOKE IN "ROCK-A-LOUNGICA"

Teresa Eggertsen Cooke's "Rock-A-Loungica!" returns to THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) on Wednesday, June 3rd at 9:00 pm. Singer/ pianist Teresa Eggersten Cooke has the musical ability to fuse the jazz standard with the rock ballad resulting in "Rock-a-Loungica", a musical journey from 1925 to 1985, crossing pop genres, bringing the music to life. She is joined by Bassist David Gallagher. The show made its debut in April at Sheila E.'s E-Spot Lounge at Vitello's in Studio City, CA. Teresa has the unique ability to present and perform songs that you may have listened to and make one feel as if they are hearing them for the very first time. The combination of her beautiful, translucent voice and musical presentation set her apart from the crowd. Teresa stands alone in her field. A native of Park City, Utah, Teresa Eggertsen Cooke is known by New York audiences for her musical programs "Decades of Song" , and "Joy!" She named her current show "Rock-a-loungica" because of the way she views and feels music. There is a $15 cover.

Keeping with their tradition of premiering new and unpublished material, 'A Little New Music' returns to ROCKWELL: TABLE & STAGE (1714 Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA - 323-669-1550) on Wednesday, June 3rd at 8:00 pm with a highly inventive program featuring Broadway and local talent. Returning as hostess and chanteuse is the spicy Jordan Kai Burnett (Seussical), joined by music director Bryan Blaskie (Victorian Courting & Zombies) and band. 'A Little New Music' is a fast-paced hour of the best new or unheard musical theatre songs. Whether a premiere from an established writer or an undiscovered tune from a promising up-and-comer, the mission is to entertain with a program that keeps your finger on the pulse. The evening will showcase songs by Grammy-nominated duo Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid (Swing!), Wallowitch and Kleban Award-winners Sam Carner and Derek Gregor (Unlock'd), Bill Nelson and Will Aronson (Harmony, Kansas/Bungee Jump), Brian Woodbury (Killa Vanilla), Eli Zoller (Spoon River Anthology), Andre Catrini (All Because of You), Michael Finke (Reporting Live), Michael Holland (Hurricane), David Orris and David Hollingsworth (Invisible), Ben Boecker (Spellbound!), James Sasser and Charles Vincent Burwell (Cubamor), Peter Saxe (MTA: the Musical), and Ming Aldrich-Gan.
